Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting Minutes
January 22, 2020
 
Call to order and declaration of a quorum. Arlene Joice called the  public meeting to order at 7:01 pm.  P & Z members Arlene Joice, Kristi Staples, Lori Robinson, Kim Chimblo and Dallas Slay were present. A quorum was declared.
Invocation. Dallas Slay led those present in prayer.
Discuss and Consider approving minutes of last meeting or meetings. Possible Action. 
Motion by Arlene Joice to accept minutes for October 30th, 2019, second by Kim Chimblo. Votes all Ayes, motion carried.
Motion by Kristi Staples to accept minutes for November 20th, 2019, second by Dallas Slay. Votes all ayes, motion carried.
Motion by Kim Chimblo to accept minutes for December 18th, 2019, second by Dallas Slay. Votes all ayes, motion carried.
Discuss and consider new subdivision ordinances  workshop day and time .  P & Z will meet to discuss new ordinances in a workshop on March 14th at 8:00 am.
Open Discussion and set date and time for next meeting. Possible Action.  Next P & Z Meeting set for February 26th, 2020
Adjournment. Motion by Kim Chimblo, second by Dallas Slay to adjourn. Votes all ayes, motion carried
  
PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
REGULAR MEETING
Notice is given that a regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission will be held Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Tioga City Hall, 600 Main Street, Tioga, Texas, at 6:30 p.m.

This is an Open Meeting, open to the public, subject to the OPEN MEETING LAWS OF THE STATE OF TEXAS and, as required by law, is hereby posted at the Tioga City Hall on January 17, 2020, giving notice of date, time, place, and agenda thereof.

3. Discuss and consider approving minutes of the last meeting. Possible Action.

4. Gather information for subdivision ordinances from surrounding towns in order to update our present ordinances. Discuss and consider approaching the city council with a proposal to update the current subdivision ordinances.
5. Open discussion and setting date for the next meeting. Possible Action.

6. Adjourn Planning and Zoning Regular Meeting.
