Meeting Held April 13, 2016A workshop meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Tioga, Texas was held on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Tioga City Hall, 600 Main Street, Tioga, Texas.
Call to Order: The public meeting was called to order at 7:08 p.m.
Prayer: Given by Janet Sloane
Declaring a Quorum: A quorum was declared. The committee members present were Arlene Joice, Janet Sloane, Patrick Coyle, Dale Cavin and Kristi Staples. Gretchen Coyle was present as a guest.
Discuss Planning for Future:
Committee worked on amending the current C-3 Central Area Commercial District of the City of Tioga zoning ordinances.
Included in the amendment were references to architectural guidelines for businesses located in this area.
-Wood, stone, awning, lighting, sidewalks, signange outside and facades, etc.
The committee will meet again to discuss the revisions before presenting it to the city attorney for review.
Next Meeting set for April 27, 2016

This is an OPEN MEETING, open to the public, subject to the OPEN MEETING LAWS OF THE STATE OF TEXAS and, AS REQUIRED BY LAW, is hereby posted at the Tioga City Hall on April 8, 2016, giving notice of date, time, place and agenda thereof.
