Planning and Zoning Committee Meeting Minutes Meeting Held November 20, 2019


A regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Tioga, Texas was held on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Tioga City Hall, 600 Main Street, Tioga, Texas.


Call to Order: Public Hearing was called to order at 6:30 p.m.


Prayer: Given by Dallas Slay


Declaring a Quorum: A quorum was declared. The committee members present were Arlene Joice, Dallas Slay, Lori Robinson, Kristi Staples.


Approval of Minutes: Minutes from September 25, 2019. Motion made by Dallas Slay, second by Lori Robinson; all ayes motion carries. Minutes from October meeting tabled. Motion made by Kristi Staples, second by Dallas Slay; all ayes motion carries.


Discuss and Consider


Discuss and consider approaching the city council with a proposal to update the current subdivision ordinances. Committee will begin researching updating the ordinance and will begin procuring information to bring to our next meeting. 


Committee members asked to view the Texas Open Meetings Act training video on YouTube and submit completion certificate to Arlene Joice.
 
Next Meeting: Next meeting scheduled for December 18, 2019 at 6:30 pm.


Adjourn: Meeting adjourned 7:12 p.m. Motion made by Kristi Staples, second by Lori Robinson. Motion carried all ayes.

Notice is given that a regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Tioga City Hall, 600 Main Street, Tioga, Texas, at 6:30 p.m.

This is an Open Meeting, open to the public, subject to the OPEN MEETING LAWS OF THE STATE OF TEXAS and, as required by law, is hereby posted at the Tioga City Hall on November 15, 2019, giving notice of date, time, place, and agenda thereof.
