Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting Minutes for December 16, 2015
A regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Tioga, Texas was held on
Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Tioga City Hall, 600 Main Street, Tioga, Texas.
Call to Order: The public meeting was called to order at 7:01 p.m.
Prayer: Given by Kristi Staples
Declaring a Quorum: A quorum was declared. The committee members present were Arlene Joice, Janet Sloane, Patrick Coyle, and Kristi Staples. Dale Cavin was not in attendance.
Approval of Minutes: October and November minutes were read and approved. Motion made by Janet Sloane seconded by Patrick Coyle. All ayes.
Committee Discussion
This was a short meeting to discuss the upcoming city survey being conducted by the planning and zoning committee.
Patrick Coyle agreed to make a flyer that Kristi Staples agreed to make copies of and post around town. Arlene and Janet agreed to advertise by email and social media.
The questions were finalized and the survey will be done through an online service. There will also be paper copies available at city hall with a locked drop box for anonymity.
It was agreed that the survey would run through the middle of February.
Next Meeting: Planning and Zoning Committee will meet Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 7:00 p.m.
Adjourn: Kristi Staples made a motion to adjourn at 7:46 p.m. Janet seconds, passes all ayes.

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Tioga, Texas will be held December 16, 2015 at Tioga City Hall, 600 Main Street, Tioga, Texas, beginning at 7:00 p.m.. This is an OPEN MEETING, open to the public, subject to the OPEN MEETING LAWS OF THE STATE OF TEXAS and, AS REQUIRED BY LAW, is hereby posted at the Tioga City Hall on December 11, 2015, giving notice of date, time, place and agenda thereof.

2. Prayer
3. Declaring of a quorum.
4. Discuss and consider minutes of October 28, 2015 and
November 18.
5. Discuss Citizen survey to be launched in January and solicit
input for Tioga's future projects.
6. Open discussion and planning for future meetings.
